Los Puentes Youth Spanish Program

The Los Puentes Youth Spanish Program will focus on cultural education through a combination of language learning, food, music, arts and crafts projects, and by partnering with community members from various Latin American nationalities to share about their countries of origin. New this year, classes will be structured around themes (such as family, food, colors, shapes, etc.) and activities will be structured around that learning in order to optimize retention of vocabulary and concepts.

Los Puentes is a ten-week program that meets once a week at the Emporia Arts Center (815 Commercial Street). There are two (2) separate classes, one for Kindergartners-2nd graders, and another for 3rd-5th graders. The two classes will meet on different days of the week.
