Se Habla Español is an exciting and collaborative program that brings together the expertise of Emporia Spanish Speakers and Emporia State University. This initiative is designed to empower individuals by equipping them with the fundamentals of the Spanish language. By bridging the language gap, the program not only enhances communication but also fosters a more inclusive and culturally sensitive community environment. With the combined efforts of these organizations, Se Habla Español is not just teaching introductory Spanish; it's building bridges of understanding and embracing diversity within the vibrant Emporia community.
This program will be broken into two 9-session blocks beginning Thursday, September 5th. The first block will end on Thursday, November 28th. The program will meet on three Thursdays each month at Emporia State University. Classes will take place in room #312 in Plumb Hall unless otherwise specified.
